I think the best type of files to upload to Cricut Design Space are SVG files. An SVG is a file with a pre-made design that you can download to your computer or device then upload to Cricut Design Space. The file contains all (or most) of the imagery and directions needed to cut a project exactly as designed.
Here is where you will make any adjustments to the file like resizing. Since my design is going on a t-shirt, I added a t-shirt template to the workspace and resized the SVG to fit. That’s it! Super easy. To recap: find an SVG you like, download it to your computer, and then upload it into Cricut Design Space. Nothing to it! Before you start to use your fonts within Cricut Design Space you need to get those fonts onto your computer! If you’ve already installed your fonts on your computer, you can skip to the next step. Your font (or fonts, if you buy a bundle) will be in the new unzipped folder. Run the application and then you can find the icon of it on your desktop. Now in the BlueStacks GUI, head over to the search option and enter for Cricut Design Space. Bluestacks will be displaying the various similar applications. Just select the right Cricut Design Space app. Click on the install option. Or, you can download the installer file Cricut Design Space does not limit the total number of images you can download to your device. Up to 50 images may be selected in a single batch. Once a batch of selected images has completed downloading, additional images may be selected and downloaded. But NOW you can get download it as an application for your Mac or Windows desktop, which means you can use it OFFLINE and whether or not you have Internet access! This is HUGE, especially for anyone who travels or lives without reliable Internet. Cricut Design Space for Desktop means you can use your Cricut anytime and anywhere!

Once your Cricut is detected by your computer, you will need to install the Cricut Design Studio software. This software has a free trial that can be accessed through the Cricut website. If you would like to purchase your own copy of the software, you can visit any store where Cricut machines are sold. By saving designs to your Cricut Design Space library you are able to free up space on your computer. You can then access them whenever you need to create a project.
